In the movie 30 for 30: Broke demonstrated the life of an average athlete and the difficulties that they have to face concerning their financial situations. In the movie, the athlete begins working when they are very young in their 20s and they have been drafted into the NBA, NFL, NHL in which they are chosen based on their talent and exceeding a level of athleticism. Most of these college students are drafted and are given a contract that can withhold up to 2-4 years depending on the sport.
