AVID Reflection
The AVID program has helped me in many ways, but the thing it helped me the most with was actually understanding the importance of going to college and it has taught me how to get there. The process of going to college can be very confusing especially for a first generation college student like me. AVID has been extremely helpful with answering all my questions I have about college. It has also kept me on track with the things I need to need get done during my senior year in order to be able to attend college; for example, college application deadlines, scholarship deadlines, and taking tests (placement, SAT ACT).
