Making Friends Online
Making friends on the internet is a pretty broad topic, since there are a lot of forms of using the internet. I personally believe most people have friends on the internet, those in their teens, at least. I myself have made plenty of friends on the internet. I absolutely believe that you can make real friends on the internet, no doubt about it.Your online friends can be anywhere, Facebook,
Instagram, Twitter, absolutely anywhere. Even on gaming consoles. Some of my (figuratively) closest friends I have met on the internet. Not all people you are friends with on the internet are strictly on the internet. I keep up with friends that have moved away or that I have moved away from. Internet friendships can help keep up with lost connections, meet new people, and many you can become close enough to in order to seek personal advice from in troubling times. Anyone can tell you that they have had some sort of irreplaceable friendship ruined from one of the pair going somewhere far off, losing touch, or drifting because of time apart. I speak from personal experience when I say, it’s bad. And it happens to the best of us. But in one case of myself, I was young, in elementary school and a boy with a military family moved here. We became very good friends until he moved away to Maryland. We had added each other on Xbox before he left and we still talk to this day… six years later. I’ve met his friends who have done the same and now we are all in far away place but still linked by one bond. The internet. These guys are my best friends. Closer than anyone else I know, and it wouldn’t have ever happened without the internet. I have met plenty of trustworthy and really cool people on the internet that I’ve never
even seen in real life, and hundreds of thousands of other people have too. Some friends of mine that I have made in school even
