Aung san suu kyi
If there was something that could describe Aung San Suu Kyi that would have to be being a leader. As a daughter of a political man, she was raised with awareness on how dirty politics could possibly be. In fact, she faced the cruelty of the world she lived when she lost his father at a very young age of 2. She escaped the wrath of Burma for a while yet, she was pulled once again into the battle field even if she had the choice to stay in England with her family. She chose to lead the people towards justice, rather than keeping mum faraway with her husband and children.

What kind of leader is she then? For me, Aung San Suu Kyi is a servant, people-oriented and charismatic leader. She is a charismatic leader because she inspires enthusiasm in her team and is energetic in motivating others to move forward. Even if she was a woman, and women back then had limited rights in politics, she pursued democracy and fairness to every one. She motivates her constituents to keep on believing that everything will be all right after all of this. she tells them to have faith, and believe in justice. She is a people-oriented leader because She treats everyone on the team equally. She's friendly and approachable, she pays attention to the welfare of everyone in the group, as what I've witnessed in the film where in she did not eat for the sake of her constituents who were taken by the Burmese government. Lastly, she is a servant leader because instead of living a peaceful life in England with her family, she chose to serve her home country for the sake of the people suffering under the regime of the government. She chose to fight for others when she could have chosen a peaceful life. She was selfless and brave.

Woman, man, children, adult.when it comes to leadership, we all possess different ranges. And just like Aung Suu Kyi, we can make a difference not just to ourselves, but also to other people.Because
“Leadership is the art of getting someone else to do something you want done because he wants to do it.” (Dwight eisenhower)

Outstanding leaders are often those who display distinguishing charactoristics of true statesmanship. They are not people who are arrogant enough to believe that they know everything about any one subject but instead, are humble and studious. Great leaders set clear cut and realistic goals. They are the kind of people who can see the big picture and scope out a path to get there, never waivering, with great confidence, they lead the way. They are not always the charming type but instead have a way about them of convincing others to join them or to understand their philosophy of the given situation. They are often likeable and seemingly outgoing. Usually great orators, however, not always the perfect writers, such as George Washington and not always with a loud enough voice, such as Patrick Henry.…

A leader is someone who inspires people, who can be clutch as a forerunner to get started on a way of thinking; or sometimes a leader is the fearless one who steps in a place no one has dared to and when they do, they do so without remorse. A leader doesn’t look back at what has passed, but instead looks ahead at what’s to come. A leader is honest, caring and has integrity. A leader confronts challenges and does not let the voice of haters or malicious people bring them down. A great leader, not just a leader can do all of these things and when they are pushed down they can get back up and keep going like no one has touched them. A leader, who fits this description in my eyes, is Sarah Palin.…

Breaking down my leadership qualities and traits and what kind I am the first thing that always comes to mind, is that I am one who still has a lot to learn and many skills to develop. Yes, I know that all of that will come with time but it remains a lingering thought letting me know that there is always room for constant improvement. That being said I would like to consider myself as a transactional leader. I greatly enjoy getting involved and checking in to ensure things are getting done right when the occasion calls for it. To include the added bonus of handing out rewards to the individuals that worked day in and day out to uphold and meet or exceed the standards I set and agree with them on.…
