Summary
A "child care center" is defined as a facility that offers a program of supplementary care to more than twelve related or unrelated children outside their own homes on a regular basis. According to 2017 State Child Care Facts, as of the end of 2017, there is a total of 3.6 million residents in Connecticut (CT), in which 158,000 are made up of children under the age of six that require child care services so that their parent(s) can work, have more free time, develop children’s social interactions, etc. With inflation continuing to rise each year, the typical American family now requires dual or supplemental incomes. This trend has created a need for quality child care services.

CCSU Kids Care will offer affordable daycare to current CCSU students, as well as CCSU alumni and staff. CCSU Kids Care will offer a safe, secure, and loving environment for children ages three months to five years old. After school programs will be available to children in grades one to five. CCSU Kids Care will be staffed by CCSU students who are focused on training in early childhood education, general education, and psychology.
CCSU Kids Care has a strong commitment to convenience. Its open-door policy embraces all who desire to provide a better quality of care and preparedness for their children. CCSU Kids Care works to provide affordable and premium care by providing innovative learning approaches.
We will open for business starting with an initial enrollment of 20 children. We project healthy revenues by the end of the first year, and expect to nearly triple that by the end of Year 3. Our biggest operating expenses will be salary, which will be at industry standard rates. We anticipate a net profit beginning in Year 1.

The play area will be adjacent to the Kids Care and will be securely fenced and furnished with appropriate playground equipment.

CCSU Kids Care is a Limited Liability Company (LLC) owned by its founders Sintia, Jacqueline and Ketu.
Services
CCSU Kids Care offers premium child care services for children ages three months to five years and after school services for children in grades one to five. Operating hours will be 7:30am to 10:30pm, Monday through Friday.
CCSU Kids Care exists to provide premier child care services that are aimed at enhancing traditional day care services. We offer state-of-the-art technology which help prepare students for the technology age in which we live. We will help mentor and tutor students with their homework assignments. Our program will strengthen basic social, listening, independence, and motor skills, to prepare the children for future related interaction. All of our child care services include technology and other fun activities that support and promote higher learning.
Service Description
CCSU Kids Care will offer four basic services:
● Full-time Child Day Care
● Part-time/After School Care
● After School Tutoring
● Drop-In
