In the article Confessions of a Sociopath by M.E., Thomas shares her daily experience as a sociopath and she very much enjoys it. A person with a personality disorder that demonstrates antisocial behavior and attitudes with a lack of conscience is known as a sociopath. Thomas explained in her article that although there may be numerous downsides of being a sociopath, there are also positive factors that shape up the individual living the sociopathic life. She unveils these people who are hiding in plain sight for the very first time. She confirms the suspicions and exposes false myths about sociopathy, providing a pathway for dealing with the sociopath in one’s life. Thomas shared in the article about the time she was beating a girl because of her annoying laugh. At the time she didn't realize she was doing something bad or if it was hurting the other girl. So now you can see that even something small can trigger the violence in a sociopath and only a sociopath would think it's okay to be violent. She even had a dream of killing her own father with her bare hands and felt thrilled about the violence of it “ smashing a door into his head repeatedly, smirking as he fell motionless to the floor”.
