Normally, high school students have options to select the subjects in variety. you should select a part that is consisted of history and literature or science and mathematics. Many student would select what they are good at, thus some students select science and mathematics regardless of their interest.-> there is no point!
For instance, my friend was really interested in history and literature. However he was good at solving science and mathematics problems. Although he wanted to be a novelist, his mother forces him to be a doctor. He already passed entering exam for medical university but he has still wanted to be a novelist.
On the other hand, I have heard American education don’t divide like Korean that, so American student can study history, literature, science and mathematics till they graduating high school. I really envy them, actually I want to learn world history and Korean literature. I want to be a biotechnology researcher but sometimes science and mathematics are really boring. So, I want Korean education depart mimic American education ways.
If you concern which part you have classes, I just recommend what you are interested in. To select what you like is more important than what you are good at. Although it could be difficult to learn, but it can’t be boring at all.
