Experiencing Failure In High School
Experiencing failure is something all people are going to have to go through at some point in their life. Whether it's sports, school, friendships, families, and relationships. For me, I experienced the most eye-opening failure in my freshman and sophomore year of high school.
It was hard for me to transition through freshman year with more classes and more classrooms to go to. Also with more older and intimidating students. Though many freshman usually are nervous in their first year of high school, some were already acquainted with the upperclassmen and had in no time made many friends. Though I wasn't looking for friends, I saw how they were all so comfortable being shown around the school and other things of the nature. Besides being nervous of my first year, I also seemed to have taken lightly of my classes and just floated through without trying. I got either one or two F's in different courses throughout my four quarters and I vowed to myself to strive for better within my sophomore year.

Now looking back on things on my last year of high school, I most definitely regret not working hard enough for my grades and taking things seriously. I still haven't got over the fact that I basically messed up my high school education and I honestly don't think I ever will. Though I do feel like a failure, I have faith in myself that I will be able to strive for better in college. Many times I wish that I could reverse back time to fix my mistakes but realistically I know that I can't fix anything in the past, but fix things now in order to get a better future that I want for myself. Throughout this whole entire experience I learned the importance of education and how it will really help for a better future. I also learned the importance of grades and how they could affect your life at an early
