Statement #1. Explain how the flexpath aligns with your career goals.
Career goals? What career goals? That used to be my first thought, if I were to be questioned about my career goals. Not because I wasn't ambitious, but rather, because I was clueless.
I never knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. I couldn't understand why almost every person I knew just seemed to know automatically what they wanted to do for a career, and I have no clue. After all, forever is such a long time, and a career meant forever right? The career question was too difficult to answer for me.
It was almost painfully embarrassing going all through college and still not having a clue what I wanted to do when I "grew up". …show more content…
An unstructured environment is something I have plenty of experience with. During the last six years, I have worked in an unstructured environment at a fitness facility called Anytime Fitness. While working as a manager at Anytime Fitness in Meridian, Ms., there were only a few rules: Get to work on time; Don't leave before your shift is over; Make sure everyone was happy; And make as many sales as you could. The way I accomplished these tasks was completely left up to me.
During those six years, my work environment was completely unstructured, with no boss breathing down my neck, or watching my every move. During those years the gym won many awards, including ‘Best Fitness Facility’ and 'Best Weight Loss Facility' in the years 2012 through 2016, and also the very prestigious award named "The Club Purple Award". This award is only given to the top 5% of all gyms in the Anytime Fitness franchise. I took great pride in winning those awards because, I was in charge, and worked completely unmanaged 98% of the time. It took a lot of self motivation to come to work on time, and work hard each day, with no one "watching over me", in a completely unstructutor environment, and still be
