My Favourite Food

Nutritious, inexpensive, and delectable, pizza has been my favorite food for years. Baked in the oven, pizza is a healthy food that is made mainly of flour. Topped with cheese, vegetables, and meat, pizza provides calcium from cheese, vitamins from vegetables, and protein from meat. Thus, it is a complete meal that provides the required nutrients. Not only is pizza wholesome, but it is also inexpensive. Pizza gives value for money; each piece costs less than $2 but it is sufficient to fill the stomach. On the other hand, other popular fast food, such as hamburger and fried chicken cost twice as much. Often, supermarkets have sales on pizzas, bringing the cost of eating pizza even lower. Finally, pizza is popular with me and with so many other people because it is delicious. ..........My Favourite Food

More and more people are enjoying the convenience and ease of dining out or ordering in. It has become socially predominant for individuals to enjoy casual dining experiences. Pizza Hut is largely portrayed as a family restaurant offering quality food, reasonable prices, and a memorable experience. However, customers are more likely than before to demand additional choices and typically view the experience of dining out as a social event. Fast foods and pizza are typically preferred over higher end dining experiences. This gives Pizza Hut a prime place in the market both domestically and internationally.…

Sugar has the best pizza because of the variety of toppings. A customer can choose his own toppings or select from one of the options on the menu. Some of the options include buffalo chicken, gyro, and sweet chili pork. All of the types I ate were delicious, but my personal favorite is the hawaiian. Another option available is a dessert…

The recommended target market for frozen pizza is what Annie’s calls Prime Prospects. This market segment consists of working moms between 30 – 45 years old, where family income is high. They are well educated and are nutritionally aware about food requirements so they tend to have good, healthy eating habits and have their families eat healthy too. These moms have a very occupied and active lifestyle since they need to balance between work, family, personal appearance and health. These moms have a good sense of style and fashion and like to be attractive and be the “cool” mom. They often have little time to cook a complete meal at home so they look for easy alternatives that meet the nutritional requirements of their families. They are regular consumers of easily cooked products that can be as close as possible to a healthy balanced diet, which are the main competitors of Annie’s new frozen pizza. These moms are consumers of this type of products because they want to eat healthy but not spend much time cooking.…

In the article,” Gap in Diet Quality Wealthiest and Poorest Americans Doubles, Study Finds,” by Tracie McMillan, and in Mark Bittman’s article, Is Junk Food Really Cheaper?” we see how food can be very expensive and this makes it harder to eat healthier. This is making Americans obese because people are eating fast food, which contains high sodium, calories, fats, and sugar. However, according to Bittman, it actually is cheaper to buy the food from a store instead of fast food. This homemade food is healthier.…

Ninety two percent of people surveyed say the busy schedules do affect the types of choices they make. (Mullin) Due to busy schedules parents have less time with kids so they treat them to sweets and reward them with food. Some kids eat because they are lonely and their parents are not around to give them company. “Fast food outlets are everywhere…” (Green), so they are perfect options for people in search of a quick food option. It is even in the name, fast food. Junk and fast food is also cheaper than healthier food so it adds to its appeal as a quick fix for food cravings. (Reasons Why People Eat…) People also like the taste of junk food better; plain and simple. People are more likely to choose it when they have the option. Twenty five out of twenty five people surveyed agree that unhealthy choices are more appealing that healthy ones. Only seven out of eighteen people would choose a healthy choice over an unhealthy one.…

The other big problem with healthy food is its speed. This is America, and as an American I don't have time to cook food that is said to be healthy, I need something made quick. It makes no sense to order food and have to wait up to an hour to get it. That’s like adopting a baby but not getting it until its 18 years old. It’s the same exact thing. Domino's pizza is now guaranteeing you get your pizza delivered to your home in under 30 minutes. You don't even have to get off your sofa and you still get it faster than some health food restaurant that you would need to drive to. Fast food cuts way down on the consumption of gas, at an especially important time in the economy.…

Hamburgers have been transformed into veggie burgers and pizzas have been changed to white pizzas. The problem with veggie burgers and white pizzas are they simply do not taste as good as a regular hamburger or pizza. As Michael Pollen stated, “to think of some of the most delicious components of food as toxins, as nutritionism has taught us to do in the case of fat, does little for our happiness as eaters” (13). When Americans try and eat healthy, they opt to go for the healthy options and not the unhealthy options even though those are the foods that taste the best. So to conquer the dilemma of finding healthy, tasteful foods, we must find healthy foods that taste as good as the unhealthy…

Our pizza came out looking like a soggy, colorless, depressing piece of bread. The bread of the pizza was so soggy, it seemed as if the pizza was drenched in water which did not help the taste of the pizza at all. All the condiments and toppings on the pizza looked so dull, as if they came out of a refrigerated container, none of the vegetables were fresh and the tomato sauce did not even taste like tomatoes! My children kept on complaining how bad the pizza was and saying, “we should have went to Dominos!” I completely agree with them. The pizzas at Domino's are voluptuous, juicy, and delicious. They use all natural vegetables and meats making the pizza healthy and tasty with high quality bread for the crust. Their pizza compared to this depressing “thing” proves how much better their company is and how much they actually care about their…

Another huge problem is that the nutritional part about the food. I don’t know if you have heard about this statistic. In order to have as many chicken, beef, and pork. Chemical labs clone the meat in order for us to have as much as we do now. Basically when we are eating meats at school that is cloned. The chemicals may have all different types of unhealthy stuff in it. That makes it taste like the real thing. Now who would like to eat chemicals? Not me, because I thought chemicals were dangerous for you. Alright this topic is something I can relate to, because of being a certain amount of pounds overweight. And the way these ladies cook that pizza has death written all over it. Only because it s just so greasy, usually some of us we take a napkin and wipe the grease of the pizza. And when we’re done the whole…

Fast food is afordable item being able to upsize a meal for a very minimal fee has made many our kids happy. Good healthful foods cost more money and take more time to prepare for that reason. In our fast food society, it is often much easier to drive through a McDonald's than it is to cook a meal and eat it. Parents without lots of money will get a whole meal rather than few vegetables from the market for the same price. Fast food meals are not only convenient, they are often very cheap. One of the most significant reasons for the popularity of fast food restaurants is that, fast foods are inexpensive. Fast food is cheap because the production is streamlined; means fast food can be produce in huge bulk, so that the quality becomes uniform and satisfy huge demand. In addition to that, the cost of the ingredients of fast food is cheaper than whole meal food. Emil Brindal (April 2010, p. 17-18) stated that most people…
