Graduate Study Challenges and Strategies for Personal Success
My name is Tremendous C. Carroll; I am 31 years of age. At the age of 18, I decided to attend a local community college to fulfill started my education goals off. I attended Southern University in Shreveport, Louisiana in Shreveport where I accomplish so many goals. I was Freshman Class President, on the Chancellor Board, and in 2002 I was crowned Miss Southern University in Shreveport, Louisiana. Also in 2002 I received my Associate Degree in Business Management with a Minor in Accounting while doing this I was employed at a local casino. Once, I graduated from Southern University I decided I wanted to continue to in Shreveport so I decided to commute to Wiley College in Marshall, TX. I attended Wiley for a 1 year and ½ and I received my Bachelor Degree in Business Administration.
After, receiving my degree my personal goals was to own a daycare. In Shreveport, I notice there was a lot daycare center empty. Once, I research the information I notice that I would have to return back to a classroom setting I decided I would just wait and look for employment. I started working at Louisiana State University in 2004 where I was not working in my field of education I was making less than I research my degree could offer me. I decided to return to school to work on getting my Master well I found out I was expecting my first child and working on the Psychiatric floor that was not good ideal for me to attend school. Doing this time I decided to think back on how can I accomplish my personal and professional goals so I decided to change my personal goals and that’s when I came up with the ideal of continue to work at LSU Health Sciences Center and use my education experiences and my work skills, and
