In Section 1, you learned about the natural environment, how it is impacted by humans, and how that impact is measured. Now, you'll apply what you learned. 1. In Section 1, there were several examples of systems, such as a car engine, the water cycle, or the carbon cycle. Think of a system you're familiar with, and then answer the following questions. a. Some factories pollute the air because of the smoke . and bad smoke can kill the trees. 4. How do you think the current global climate change will affect the area in which you live? Are any changes happening now? What changes do you think will happen in the future? If you are near the coast or near a glacier, talk about how these things might or might not affect you.
