A funeral is a way for family and friends to say their last goodbyes to someone they loved. The ones that I have attended have always been filled with sorrow and people wearing black. I have decided that I want my funeral to be different. As a matter of fact, I would rather call my services a Celebration of Life. I do not want my loved ones, or friends, to be sorrowful that I am gone. I would rather have them think about how I touched their lives, and somehow brought a little happiness to them. I do not want anything fancy, but I would like to have a private viewing for family members only, followed by a graveside service, and a celebration of life at my sister’s house.
