Importance of Time
Time is precious. It is invaluable. It is one of the powerful factors. Our life is measured in terms of time. We grow in time, live in time and perish in time. Time is fleeting. It is changing. It never stops. Neither does it wait for anyone.

Time once lost is lost for ever. It can never be regained. It can never be captured. It is the most potent factor. Even the strongest and powerful monarchs have been helpless before time. Even they could not command time to stop. So, we should be careful about the importance of time. We should never waste it. We are successful in life only when we make the best use of time.

Time is the most influential factor in this world. It is abstract. Everything in this world is commanded and decided by time. Nobody can escape the hold of time. It is the time which gives us the opportunity to make use of it. Those who make best use of time and avail those opportunities grow and rise in life. Those who waste their time lag behind. They fail to make any mark in life. He is the wisest who makes the best use of time. He rises to the great heights who keep pace with the time.

It is gainful and it saves from hassle and confusion. Unnecessary delay and lazy attitude towards one’s assigned duty is very dangerous. The great men of the world rose to fame, glory and success because they always made best use of their time. They made a mark in time. They became immortal. They are guide and source of inspiration for generations to come.

To ensure best use of time in life, one needs to be very punctual. Punctuality avoids inconvenience and tension. It offers great opportunity, which, if struck properly brings big results. Opportunity once lost is hardly regained. Proper use of time brings success and achievements. Doing everything in time should be the

In the essay titled, “The Tyranny of the Clock” by George Woodcock and the film, “ Nick of Time” demonstrates how the movement of the clock sets the tempo of the lives of people. People become the servants of time, always hurrying through meals, rushing to catch busses or trains, all contribute as examples of our regular routines in life. The clock influences the habits of people by making them do things that ruin their health and shorten their life because they are so overwhelmed to do a specific type of job that they let themselves be manipulated by a man-made machine. Woodcock theory believes that the only way a person can live a well balanced and healthy life is by no longer being dominated by time.…

Time is an amazing concept. Time has been said to be worth more than gold, jewelry or even money. Many would trade valuable items in order to have more of it or even go back into it. We are given time and told to “spend” it wisely. From birth our time is filled with things to do, to learn and to accomplish. What if there was a secret to freezing time, what would it be worth? As a child earns money some choose to save or some spend quickly. Can you “spend” your time that way? It appears the older we get the more time we lose, but have we lost it or just not “managing” our time.…

The writer said “there is no substitute for time. The supply of time is totally inelastic. Time is totally perishable and cannot be stored. Yesterday’s time is gone forever and will never come back”. Thus, time management is very important and one should use time as best as oneself can. Every successful man has his own time management. Managing your time wisely is so important when it comes to accomplishing the goals you have set. When you know what your priorities are and have specific goals set in place, you must set aside some time to work toward them. The reason you do not possess the things you want out of life right now is because you have been unwilling to sow the seeds of time and effort to produce them. Respect the specific time you have given for a specific task and you will reach your specific goal a lot faster.…

"Time rushes by and yet time is frozen. [It's] funny how we get so exact about time at the end of life and at its beginning." This quote by Helen Prejean shows the importance that time has played in many American dreams. Part of my American dream is to let time play less of a role in my life and to go experience life at the pace I want to and achieve my goals how I want to. My family has always had the same philosophy about time, and is very supportive of my primary goals: going to college, becoming a high school teacher, and being a loving husband with my own great family. Salvador Dali's "Persistence of Memory" helps to reflect my idea of time "melting" out of need and Emily Dickinson's poem "Because I Could Not Stop For Death" shows the fast pace that many Americans have put their lives in, which is exactly what I would like to escape from.…

The power and influence of time is a concept that has both puzzled and humbled practically every human since the beginning of our consciousness as a species. Struggling to comprehend and even possibly accept that the destiny of all living things in the world is to die, and that with every second of time passing comes the implication of how the encroaching moment during which we will finally succumb to something, whether it be illness, violence or just old age, has just become that much closer provokes feelings in all of us that are relatively hard to convey and rather uncomfortable to discuss. Time's quiet sovereignty over those who constructed its very existence is something that many people struggle with, turning to worldly escapes in a futile…
