Introduction I. History has shown far back as 2500 BC and in the Fifth Dynasty of Egypt, that stone carvings were illustrated using electric fish to relieve pain. II. Today we will learn who invented the Tens Unit and what it was created to do. III. Since I am going into the physical therapy field, I felt that it would be good to research an invention in that field, so I decided to research about the TENS Units, reason being is cause it is a major invention that is being used in the process for anyone that is needing physical therapy. IV. Today, I will be discussing 2 aspects of the TENS Unit. The First one will be who is the one that invented it and the second would be what is it made to do.
Body I. First, lets look at who invented the Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation, known as the TENS Unit.
