I have placed my logo on the top right corner of my website because for me it’s the most suitable place to put logo. It makes logo visible and clear to see, people can easily recognize it. Many websites use the same place where I‘ve put my logo. My navigation bar is just below the shop name and the shop logo; it’s on the same place on every page, because that will make it easy for users to find it. For my website I have created 8 Webpages. On these Webpages I’ve put information about the shop, information about delivery and return policy. I’ve also put pictures of my products and description below each picture because it gives users an inside view of the shop with the pictures. To make it easier for customers to find the shop I’ve created Google map page, it gives customers direction and best routes to find the shop location. There also Webpages like products gallery and Registration form page. I’ve chosen to sell different type of gadgets because in our days technology is on high level and people are into technology.…

The Health Fair Presentation project was one of my favorite assignments so far in my college career. I have never really been a fan of group projects because there is rarely an even work distribution; and being the student that I am, I usually end up doing the most work. However, this was not the case in my groups project. We all did a fairly even amount of work. Our group started out with four people, which is already a smaller group compared to some other, and one student dropped the course half way into the project so we ended up doing our project in a group of three. There were five jobs to split up and we all picked up the slack to make sure the project was done on time, and done well.…

Facebook does not create loneliness, but it does not exterminate it either. It all depends on ones usage.…

Compared to the first presentation , I was able to select a topic in the second presentation which was much easier to work with , this also increased the scope of the presentation and I had to cut it down to a 10 minute presentation.Learning from the class , I picked up the technique to have a marking on the floor and in the second presentation , I used this technique for my Pre-introduction which was helpful as there was curiosity among audience on the discussion topic. The pre-introduction also had a hook for the audience to listen to the next set of slides, the transition from discussing about browser shares to games helped in having a puzzle opening. The pre-introduction in week 3 was effective as well in having a compare-contrast opening where we decided to open with a Perception issue and then transition into the actual problem.…

Choosing a career is a choice that one should approach with a plethora of knowledge on all options, weighing the pros and cons of each career, and ultimately choosing what is the best long term option for him/herThis is somewhat awkward.. According to U.S. News author Tim Tyrell-Smith, there are key questions that one should ask oneself when making this choice: What are your natural talents?, What’s your work style?, Where do you like to work?, Do you enjoy social interactions?, How important is work-life balance?, How do you deal with stress?, and How much money do you desire to make? (Tyrell-Smith. 2010) One should also consider the educational training needed for a particular field. The final career choice and ultimate option should be one that may even include guidance from a career counselor or school advisor. In this report, the previous questions will be explored in order to choose between a career in Landscaping or Carpentry. In this formal report, a comparison will be made between 2 careers. The career choices are Landscaping and Carpentry. These two careers have similarities as well as differences.…

Before I went to the meeting, I was expecting the meeting to be like seen on TV. Looking something around the lines of a middle school auditorium with chairs all facing the stage and someone gets up there and talks. Or a meeting where everyone sits in a circle, facing each other and each person shares. Instead, the meeting was in a cafeteria in a hospital. The seating was very casual and welcoming. When we walked in there was about 40 people just talking and sharing. There was a very positive vibe, which was very different than I expected. I was also surprised about the amount of new or just visiting members. At the beginning of the meeting, the leader asked if there was anyone who was new or just visiting and about 5 people stood up and introduced…

XXXXXXXXX Exploratory Report Stake-Holders: People/Entities The conflict of the Ground Zero mosque has become one of the fiercest religious based debates in recent years. One of the most influential men in the debate is Feisal Abdul Rauf. Rauf is the Imam (leader in prayer) at the current New York City mosque just a few blocks away from the proposed location of the future mosque. He has put a lot of time and money into this proposed mosque and does not plan to give up on it. Another key person in this issue is Sharif El-Gamal, the CEO of Soho Properties. Soho Properties is the company who purchased the lot where they plan to build the mosque, and who is overseeing the hiring and funding to complete the project. Sharif and Feisal have been business partners in the past and are working together again on this mosque. Without Soho Properties, the construction of this mosque would not be feasible. With every issue, there are those who support it and those who oppose it. In this particular matter, the main people who both support and oppose it are politicians. The key political supporters are Mayor Michael Bloomberg and President Barack Obama. Bloomberg is the mayor of New York City and says this Islamic group has the Constitutional right to worship wherever they choose. The leading politicians who oppose this mosque are Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Sarah Palin, and Newt Gingrich. Newt Gingrich is best known for comparing Ground Zero to Pearl Harbor. All of these…

On Feb. 19, 2009, about a month after President Barack Obama’s first day on the job, CNBC host Rick Santelli railed against the President’s proposed bank bailout and stimulus package on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange calling it an effort to help those who did not, or could not, help themselves (Tea Party Movement, 2012). Santelli sanctioned “another tea party” similar to the American Revolution movement of the same name, and almost immediately, the movement gained momentum. By autumn, hundreds of Tea Party groups organized efforts in every state (Tea Party Movement, 2012). A year later, the movement influenced Republican party politics in the 2010 congressional elections (Tea Party Movement Evolves, 2012). With all the hype and candidate activities grabbing headlines for the past two years, the Tea Party Movement has fallen back to the shadows of the alleys that seldom get noticed. The goals of the movement initially were to remove Republican Party officials who were not living up to the conservative standards adopted by the movement and stop the Democratic economic policy supporters from carrying out the bailout plan. Although the Tea Party Movement was effective in 2009 and 2010 at trying to accomplish it’s goals, the lack of a substantive spokesman, little to not political pull, and sporadic support has watered down the efforts of the movement to an almost complete halt in 2012. Therefore, the Tea Partiers have lost their chance to evoke change in the government.…

audience. In the workplace, often times, employees are given the opportunity to present their side of an argument to make changes to work towards their advantage. Case in point, when I used to work for local cable company we had to wear business attire. A few employees presented the argument that with more comfortable dress we could do a more productive job. We cited examples of other Fortune 500 companies that were doing the same and some were considering allowing naps. We had to give facts such as statistics and expert opinions it had to be presented in writing and formatted as an executive summary.…

Throughout my life I have been giving speeches. Most of them went well but all of them could have been better. The funny thing about speeches is I can prepare a great speech and rehearse it until I’m blue in the face but when the time comes to stand up and give that speech my heart beat starts fluctuating, my mouth dries instantly, and all my accepted wisdom is wiped clean. This is when I rely on my gift of gab and the confidence I have in myself. After all, this is coming from a guy who loves to tell stories and often enjoys being the center of attention. This time I had a well written speech, I was prepared, and I was confident to be standing in front of the class.…
