A Genuine Renaissance Man When contemplating about one of the outstanding Renaissance men, who comes to mind? Does Leonardo Da Vinci come to mind? Unequivocally the man who brought to life the Mona Lisa and designed the first scissors is bound to be a successful man; however his love and dedication to his various types of works is what made Leonardo Da Vinci a true Renaissance man. At the remarkably young age of fourteen Leonardo Da Vinci began to apprentice with a man named Andrea Del Verrocchio. Andrea Del Verrocchio was a painter, sculptor, and goldsmith in Italy during the Italian Renaissance.
