love and lust
“…but I can’t help falling in love with you”. That classic love song that was composed some time ago by Elvis Presley. It makes people wonder did her really know what love was or what was going on? Everyone has experienced “love” at some point in their lives. But do people really know the difference between love and infatuation? When comparing these two theoretically the meanings are a world apart but differentiating between the two in a real life scenario is no easy task. Love is said to be tenderness and passionate affection that is directed at someone else while infatuation is just blind, foolish and exaggerated passion towards another individual.
Infatuation can be compared to a falcon’s eye, the mere fact that it focuses on the physical appearance can justify that comparison. This means that when infatuated an individual will be looking for attributes that they find attractive, for instance, the cutest girl or best looking guy. On the other hand love is different, it overlooks all flaws. When a person is in love the physical aspect, or even the nature, of another individual does not seem important. This includes religion, and even gender boundaries. Yes, for lack of better words, love is blind.
Another point would be that infatuation is short-sighted and short-lived. Distance and time hinder relationships that are based on infatuation. It can be equated to building a sand castle near the sea tide, the person knows it will crumble but they still go ahead and do it. In great contrast love is eternal. The distance between two lovers would not weaken the relationship. No, it would actually create a deeper bond and fuelling the desire to be together would burn even brighter.
Furthermore, infatuation is impulsive. It makes sporadic decisions. It does not allow an individual to ponder and decipher on the right moment. It goes with gut instincts and makes decisions to satisfy the lusty desires that they embark. On the other side of the spectrum there is love, now

Love is defined as something you earn or gain in months or even for some people years, lust is simply defined as something you can gain in a matter of weeks or in some cases minuets. Love is like a complicated puzzle that you can only put together with one other person. Lust can be like a puzzle too but if you have various people helping you day in and day out then some of the pieces might have gotten lost or rearranged. If you have a puzzle with lost or disarrayed pieces there won’t be anything left for that one person to put together. It may seem like a common cliché but loves does conquer all even if you’re the most pessimistic person out there, no one wants to put together a puzzle alone.…

Love and Lust are two different things with regards to relationships. Love is when two people like something about each other, but having a desire for someone is called Lust. Definition Essay on Love

The definitions of love are the same and yet different. Godly, for instance is the love of God, and your devotion and respect toward him, the creator. In all religion, god carries the same aspect. Fraternal love is the love of ones family and relatives, even the love of one who is close to you, in that respect, such as a friend. Then there 's romantic love; a love between two people, which I consider to be both intimate and sexual. Older dictionaries and encyclopedias usually refer to the romantic aspect of love, as the love in which is experience between man and woman. In today 's society it is said that romantic love can be found regardless of your gender and based on that definition I would have to agree, but personally disagree for the simply reason that we were physically made to adapt with the other gender sexually. Feeling romantic love for the same sex would defeats the purpose of our existents, which is procreation. Thus making love for the same sex unjust.…

The love that I have for my boyfriend is special to me he is my knight and shiny armor. However, love is a very powerful word. Love can take control over people and also can ruin lives too.
