My Leadership Philosophy
Leadership is the inspiration and guidance of others toward shared objectives. Influential leaders embody integrity and empathy, fostering trust and navigating challenges when they arise. My decision-making and actions are guided by my leadership philosophy, which has been developed throughout the years through experiences, role models, and fundamental values. My leadership philosophy is based on principles that I have acquired from mentors and experiences, and it places a high importance on integrity and honesty. These influences have allowed my leadership style to utilize resilience and empathy, which I have gained through my personal growth. When I can take the lead and assume responsibility, I use my compassion, honesty, and perpetual learning to motivate and encourage others. I …show more content…
Moreover, fostering a team culture of continuous improvement can contribute to sustained performance and success when done correctly. Continuous Learning and Growth A growth mindset is essential for fostering continuous learning and development. Adopting the belief that abilities and intelligence can be developed through dedication and effort has transformed my leadership by making me more likely to embrace challenges and persist in facing obstacles. This growth mindset has empowered me to approach challenges with greater resilience and optimism. Allowing myself to view setbacks as opportunities for growth rather than unmovable barriers. Continuous self-reflection and learning are fundamental skills to my personal and professional growth, and they allow me to assess my areas of weakness in leadership regularly.     Taking ENES 317 has exposed me to lot of knowledge such as one leadership/Management skills, personality types, approaches to problems and decision making.
