Persuasive Essay On Cats Vs Dogs
Domesticated animals living as pets are a common thread among many American households. Pets offer companionship which has been proven to lower blood pressure and decrease depression, and are fun to have around. While there are a variety of choices when selecting a pet, many families narrow that choice to either cats or dogs. But how does one narrow the choice even further? Both cats and dogs make wonderful additions to a household, but choosing between the two depends on the owner’s lifestyle, budget, and living space.
The first question one should ask when selecting a pet should be how much time they are able to devote to their new pet. Cats tend to have less of an impact on their owner’s lifestyle because they can be left alone for long

Dogs need outdoor space, and room to run and release energy. Many owners of large dogs prefer to keep them outdoors due to shedding and space, which requires a fence or enclosed structure. Cats prefer to be indoors, as many can’t survive the elements outside. They take up less space indoors, and therefor are less likely to feel like an intrusion in a small household. Both cats and dogs can shed and cause allergy issues, however

many breeds of dogs offer hypoallergenic choices. Not only should the size of the pet be relative to the size of the living space, but the habits and preferences of the animal and owner should be considered as well.
In conclusion, both cats and dogs are known for being great household companions. The decision between the two for an owner should depend on lifestyle choices, budget constraints, and the size of their living space (both indoors and outdoors). If the owner selects a new pet without considering these things, the animal may not properly be cared for, and the owner may face behavior issues from their new friend. Choosing a new pet can be a difficult task, but when all of these things are considered, it makes the choice a little

    For the years that we have been living we all have come to realize that dogs are more trainable than cats. Canines have been trained to care for their owners, fetch news papers and some are trained as watch dogs for the blind.
