Daniel and Revelation

Daniel 1
Chapter Summary
Daniel chapter 1 tells a story of a 4 young wise men named Daniel, Meshach, Shadrach and Abed-nego. They were captivated and brought in into the King’s palace for a grate purpose. However, that purpose is the plan of God for His teachings to be known and thought in the place of Babylon. God had chosen these four young men and gave them knowledge and wisdom. These young men used their knowledge that God had given them and by their works they had established God’s message and teachings to the Kingdom.
Reflection to the Chapter
I asked myself, why did God let His people be captivated by the enemy? Learning from the four young men’s story by my past story is important part for me. What I have learned from the story made me realize what is God’s plan for me.
A few years back, before I reach NLAC, my lifestyle then was truly unrighteous. I can’t be either called a Christian because of such wickedness I have done and did it many times. Now why did I ask the question above? It is because, this was the question I once asked myself, that why God allowed it for me to go that way.
This happened when I left home trying to leave life being independent to my parents. But the result was, I fall into the dungeon of wicked humanity. But when I was withdrawn from this kind of community, a new life came to me. New lifestyle, new activities, and new kind of people around me changed my attitude. And all of this has begun when I studied at NLAC.
Learning from the story in Daniel chapter one, my question was answered in relation with my past. God did allow me to live life like that and almost lost into possible destruction. But with those days, I have discovered my skills in music. Now I have learned that, what happened in my past is not just a sad accident in my life but an opportunity for me to acquire
