Sin Nombre Analysis
The movie sin nombre was one of those few movies we americans watch that makes us go what the?. I mean what when’s the last time you’ve watch a movie where the newly formed quote unquote “good guy” died..You can’t remember right case closed. One thing I like about this movie is how it snaps you back in reality, it does the very opposite of what hollywood does. Where hollywood would take a once bad guy, turn him into a fan favorite baby face and have him save the day at the end with the hot girl beside him mexican cinema gives us the sort the more realistic version not all that real but sort of the once “bad guy” redeemed himself by killing the evil guy, saving the cute girl's life, she falls for him, than he's chased and they get separated and he dies “real”.

The transformation of willy as character. Well as a character willy took a 180 turn he went from a bad guy to a fan favorite why I’ll tell you why. Willy’s girl was taken by El mago there big homie who’s intentions was to rape her but she put up a fight and got killed from then on willy had turn 90 degrees on his boss. You know I saw Willy killing El mago from a mile ago cause I knew even the baddest of “bad guys” can still redeem themself. We in this nation are so fast to judge and point fingers, we gave Willy the bad guy tittle within the first minute of the movie because we saw his dress code and we saw him beating on Smiley and we gave him the title without knowing the full story I’m not justifying his actions I’m just holding off on the blaming.
