What is Technical writing?
Technical writing is a form of technical communication. It is a style of writing used in fields as diverse as computer hardware and software, engineering, chemistry the aerospace industry, robotics, finance, consumer electronics, and biotechnology. The main purpose of technical writing is to provide sometimes complex information. Oftentimes, this is the type of writing that will assist a person with understanding more about a particular item, such as a computer or a new drug or a new piece of technology. Technical writing is also used to explain how an object works or how to complete a project. This helps us to make a complicated process clear and translates the hardcore technical information into words which are easy to grasp and follow. The subject being written about may be abstract or tangible. However, the writing must be easy to understand and follow. It is also important to be concise and exact about your subject matter.

What is the difference between Technical Writing and Creative Writing?
Creative writing is written mainly to entertain and educate with the creativity of the mind. It deals with writing from your imagination, with no guidelines or rules. The writer gets to express feelings and emotions instead of just presenting the facts. Creative writing should engage a reader; so that a reader's imagination can soar. While the technical writing is written primarily to inform in a formal manner or to motivate the reader to make an action such as purchase the writer’s product. Its focus is to inform and help the readers understand a process or concept. Technical writing should inform a reader, so that the reader can complete a task.

I felt expelled and exiled, sitting in a room filled only with a bed. White walls which painted no imagination, no hope just emptiness; yet they still assured me I was meant to be here. Every day was the same as the last, every memory I captured had slowly escaped. I was considered dangerous, vile and out of control; these words constantly surrounded me, swirling around in the echoes of the halls. 15 years I have been here, and still not once has my voice box being strained. This only reminded me of what was familiar.…
