THE HOUSE OF MY DREAMS

Rosalía’s house

If I had money I’d buy the flat above mine and I’d build a duplex with a staircase in the living room. Upstairs there would be three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living-room and a balcony. Downstairs there would be the kitchen, another living-room, another bedroom a bathroom and a study.
I wouldn’t move from my neighbourhood because of my mom. She likes it and my friends live nearby. I’d live in a kind of terraced house and all the rooms must be very coloured and light.

Celia’s house

The house of my dreams would be a house on the beach with my family and friends nearby. It would be a big house with a big garden and two floors. I would like to have a big balcony to see the sea but also my house would be near shops and all type of services.. but without noise.

Yolanda’s house

My dream house would be on a beautiful island, with mountains behind, trees around and the sea in front. The house would be small and quiet, with one big room and big windows as well.

Carolina’s house

The house of my dreams is a big detached house far away from Madrid, maybe in a village, in a quiet and natural environment. My house would have three floors and a big garden with a swimming-pool and an orchard, where I would plant and grow a lot of flowers or vegetables.
I wouldn’t have neighbours, but there would be a small town nearby where I could buy food and everything I needed. I could see the stars in the sky every night!

Paula’s house

My dream house would be in the city but it would be in a quiet area. It’d be a modern house with a garden and a swimming pool and it’d have two floors. There would not be any buildings around but there would be a park, a mall and all kind of conveniences.

Diana’s house

When I finish my studies in Psychology I would like to move from Spain, maybe to England. If I could buy a house, it would be in the country but not so far from the city, in a quiet place. It would be a

In "The House on Mango Street" the author tells us how she found her dream. Her large family had to move all the time in search of a decent place to live. Experiencing what not having her own place is like, moving all the time and being ashamed of her shelters, Sandra Cisneros defines the features of the house of her dream. It has to be not just her own place to live, but also a place that she could be proud of. She describes her dream house: "inside it would have real stairs, not a hallway stairs, but stairs inside like the houses on TV"; it "would be white with trees around it, a great big yard and grass growing without a fence"(501). Moreover, she says it has to be the house "...one I could point to" (Cisneros 502). Even though these features are not necessities for living, the author 's own dream becomes her necessity to be fulfilled.…

It was gigantic! There was a two car garage and long staircase that led up to the main floor of the home. Inside, there were big, long windows that revealed the vegetation surrounding the home. The kitchen and dining room were connected. There were about 3 bedrooms upstairs and 3 more downstairs. They even had their own elevator! Inside my room, there was a sauna, huge couch, a workout set, and a tv. Connected to the room, there was another room that had a bed and closet. There was a full bathroom down the hall. Then when you went upstairs, there was two french doors revealing a crystal blue inground pool. Around it was an eating area with a bunch of drinks and snacks. There was another bathroom next to it. There was a bunch of vegetation around the house. Next to the pool was a set of stairs that led to the boardwalk which led to the beach. It was absolutely…

We were living in Effingham, IL, with a friend of ours. It was a yellow house, yet not like a bright yellow, more of a pale yellow. It was a 2 story house; the central floor and the basement. There four bedrooms. I preferred sleeping on the couch, still do. The living room couch was beige a large L-shaped couch in the left back corner of the room, and chalkboard above it. A tv in the right front corner of the room.…

My dream home is a place of beauty, serenity and inspiration. It is a bungalow with a huge lawn, planted with fruit trees and flowering plants. There is plenty of space for a table and chairs so that when the weather is fine, my family can sit outside to have a meal or read the newspapers. There is also a lovely waterfall in the garden to soothe our minds with the sound of water falling.…
