After years of striving for the American Dream it is all coming to an end. Slaves are finally free! Why on why does this have to happen? I can not bear to see my family work having to work on the plantation. The 13 amendment made slavery officially abolished in all areas of the United States including the South. However, the only slightly good outcome of this is that forced labor remains constitutional in the United States as punishment for a crime. But even so I am not making enough money to support my family as I once did. Although, I am currently financially stable within a few years I may go from high class living to middle class living. My parents riches will not be enough to support my children's future or my grandchildren futures. Nevertheless,
