Chapter 1
Introduction to the Study Charcoal is one of the most used fire spreader or fuel and considered economically important to Filipinos. Charcoal briquettes are most commonly used on cooking purposes; they are used as a fuel, in order for the fire to produce more heat.
Statement of the Problem and the Hypothesis
This study aimed to find out if there is a possibility of producing ink out of charcoal and is effective and alternative substitute on normal inks. Specifically, this sought to answer the following questions:
1. Is using charcoal on producing ink cost-efficient?
2. Is the charcoal ink quick drying when writing it already on any paper types?
3. Is the charcoal ink lasts long even if it’s just on its container for a long period of time and not on use?
In the view of the preceding problems, the following hypotheses were advanced:
1. There is a possibility on producing ink out of charcoal and is effective and alternative substitute on normal inks.
2. Using charcoal on producing ink is cost-efficient.
3. The charcoal ink is quick-drying when wrote on any type of paper.
4. The charcoal ink lasts long even if it is just on its container for a long period of time and not on use.
Significance of the Study
The results of this study is not just beneficial to the household personnel who commonly use charcoal as their fuels on making fire, but the results of this study is beneficial to the students who commonly use inks as their writing marker as well as to the
