I. Introduction
A. Background: Mathematics is the science that deals with the logic of shape, quantity and arrangement. It is difficult to define exactly what mathematics is. Everyone learns mathematics at school, the best way to understand what mathematics is and what mathematicians work on - is to do mathematics.
B. Thesis Statement: Even though everyone has studied mathematics since they were young, mathematics still difficult for everyone because of many reasons such as formula, instructor, and influence.

II. The first reason is formula. Mathematics require a lot of logic to understand the formula.
A. Math is very foundation-based.
1. It’s something that continues to build upon itself as you go higher.

In addition to formula, the second reason is instructor. When an instructor doesn’t intend their teaching, the student is almost definitely not going to enjoy it.
A. Instructor can’t give good explanation and concept
1. Students can’t solve problem more effectively when instructor are provided with bad explanation of the concept.
2. Instructor can’t make good motivation for students to feel that they are not working with their teacher to develop their understanding.
B. Instructor can’t take care of children thoroughly
1. Instructor can’t engage students by teaching and learning as a collaborative process by showing their students that their thoughts and opinions are valued
2. Instructor can’t encourage their students to talk to each other to show students how much they can learn from each other, independent of their teacher.

IV. For the last reason is influence. Many student still ask a question to a math instructor how to apply mathematics to life and learn for what.
A. Influence from bad personal attitudes and experience.
1. Students making a lot of mistakes in math test and get low grade. It’s let students be afraid to math
