You have received a gift of money. The money is enough to buy either a piece of jewellery you like or tickets to a concert you want to attend. Which would you buy? Use specific reasons …

On my 20th birthday my parents gave me 500 euros to spend however I choose. I couldn’t believe my eyes! There were a lot of things I could buy with 500 euros but about a month ago I had set my eyes on a wonderful piece of jewellery and was determined to buy it. It was an exquisite pearl necklace that would match perfectly a pearl necklace my grandma gave me before she died.
A few days after my birthday my best friends and I met up in Valletta to go and buy the necklace. As we were walking towards the jewellery shop we started to talk about a Rihanna concert that was going to take place in 2 months time in London. We discussed how great it would be if we go and spend 3 days in London and attend the concert, which would be the highlight of the holiday.
I had to admit that going to London with my best friends and attend a Rihanna concert, who is my favourite singer and wanted to attend her concerts for a very long time, would truly be an amazing and unforgettable experience.
As we arrived in front of the jewellery shop, I was confused because I really wanted to buy the necklace but on the other hand I didn’t want to miss such a great opportunity and so I decided to wait a few more days and see if our plans to go to London actually materialise.
We went to my friend’s house and started looking for airline tickets, accommodation and concert tickets. A rough estimate of the total cost was around 500 euros. We had to decide quickly because there weren’t a lot of concert tickets left. We decided to meet up again at the end of the week and decide what to do.
Once at home I started to consider the pros and cons of going to London with my best friends. I thought that if I had to go to London I would have to forget about the bracelet for the time being But if I didn’t go I would miss a

The day started off pretty normal, well, besides the fact that we had all stayed in the house with nothing but this concert on our minds. We went to breakfast at Denny's, after which we made our way towards The Great Saltaire, the site of the day's big event. On our way to my friends house, we drove by the multi million-dollar complex. It had a huge crowd that made the excitement more intense. To my surprise, I kind of got a nervous feeling. Why? I do not know. We proceeded to my friends house where the entire group conglomerated in preparation of the concert. We had a fairly large group of people that consisted of Erica, Kamren, Michelle, Mike, and Me. While waiting for the right time to arrive at the event, we had the radio turned to a station that was giving all the updates on the arrival time, how big the lines were, and even pricing on the coolest outfits.…
